Laney in the Excersaucer

Last weekend we got the excersaucer back out. Generally laney enjoys it. Zach loved playing with all the items around it again. Although he is sad when he asked to get in and we say no. However, he has started asking for laney to play in it. So we do sometimes. I wanted a cute shot of them playing together, mostly she likes to watch him, but she started to scream right before I took the pic.

Just a little creepy!

Eric gave Zach a huge bowl of yogurt the other night without a bib. Needless to say it was all over his shirt. So daddy took of the shirt...and this was the result. You should've seen it before I fixed the red eye. Talk about scary!!

ROOOLLLL TIDE!

Our friends the Giles are avid Arkansas fans. But last Saturday night, while her father was not around, I persuaded Madeline to sport some Bama gear! Its fitting because Bama finally pulled it off and beat those stupid pigs!

My new music!

ok, I know I'm such a dork but I LOVE the new music player thing I found. I had so much fun finding old songs from tv shows. So in honor of the new season of shows starting next week (YEAH!), here are some tunes.

Fall Pumpkin Oatmeal Cookie Recipe

Hey Guys,
I'm so excited we are getting to fall! I found this WW recipe for pumpkin cookies. They are super yummy! So I'm going to post it. Hope you get a chance to try them and enjoy.

Pumpkin Oatmeal Cookies

I made these with real butter and sugar and got 60 cookies for about 1 point each.

2 cups flour
1 cup quick or old fashioned oats
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp ground ginger
1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 cup butter
3/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar
3/4 cup granulated sugar
1 egg
1/3 cup applesauce
1 tsp vanilla
1 cup cooked mashed or canned pumpkin

Preheat oven to 350. Combine flour, oats baking soda and spices. In large mixing bowl, cream butter; gradually add sugars, beating until light and fluffy. Add egg, applesauce and vanilla; mix well. Alternate additions of dry ingredients and pumpkin, mixing after each addition.

Drop by well-rounded teaspoons (these are rediculously small but only one Weight watchers point so for those of you who don't care, go ahead and make them big! =) ) onto lightly greased cookie sheet. bake 10-12 minutes, just until browned. Remove from sheet and cool on racks.

mommy and laney

I made Zach a tent out of a comforter, his basketball goal, and the couch one day. Now he asks for it all the time. Tonight we made one and Eric got a few shots of us hanging out. Too bad Eric and I can't get any alone time in the tent! hee hee hee
