Kids say the darndst things....

You may be wondering why there is a picture of a mostly eatten gingerbread man sugar cookie on my blog. WELL...at lunch today Zach was enjoying his cookie. He bit off the head and an arm and said, "Look, now its a donkey!" and it did look like a donkey! We were impressed! Next, he bit off another piece and said,"Now its a jacket." and it did look like a jacket. Finally he was down to what you see here, the feet of the gingerbread man. And he said, "Look its boo boos!" (thanks to breast feeding this is his word for BOOBS!!!) And ya know what, after we got done laughing our heads off, we thought it sure does!

A fun playdate!

We had a fun time with our friends Andrew, Baby Kaitlyn, Noelle, and Ross yesterday. I don't know where Ross and Andrew were during our picture taking. Both Zach and Noelle wanted a turn to hold Kaitlyn.

The Open House

Some of you know all about how the Lord has been working in me, using my hobbies and turning them into a ministry for His glory. I was privileged to have a little "booth" at a holiday open house my friend Leanne organized in her home recently. I was so nervous to do this, stepping out of your comfort zone is always tough. But I had such wonderful friends come out and support me! Thanks to you guys! Anyway, I thought I'd post a few pics of my table for my mom and Linda who couldn't see in person. I felt it had a little bit of the science fair feel, surely if you look close enough you'll see my hypothesis and procedure. LOl! God blessed my work that night and I made enough to cover costs and some extra to make some gift tutus in the future. If you want to check out my website for the whole story and to see what I'm making its extravagantlovetutus.blogspot.com.

Saturdays around here...

Last night I came out of the bathroom to find Zach in Eric's workout gloves rolling the huge barbell back and forth. He said he was "working". Crack me up! he was so cute! Love the gloves! Yes, he's wearing Lighting undies over his diaper bc there was no shorts clean to sleep in. And yes, maybe someday we'll get potty trianed. lol!

Here's Laney modeling her Texas Tech Homecoming outfit! She's definately the queen!
