Update

Today was Laney's one month appointment. The doctor said she is doing well. She now weighs 8lbs 12oz and is 20 in in height. She said the height seemed to be less than it should be but thinks that the hospital "cheated" and stretched her when they measured her at birth. So we are keeping an eye on that. Her belly button hernia (a seriously huge outtie belly button!) is, thankfully, a purely cosmetic thing. Dr. Mayberry said that it doesn't hurt and is not causing any problems with her body. This is good news. The bad news is that its a pretty large one and we just have to wait and see if it goes away. If not, we can have surgery to fix it when she is 3 or 4yrs old. We were thinking that we may not fix it until she is engaged. That way, she can't be trapesing about in those belly showing shirts and bikinis. ha ha! Seriously, just join us in prayer that it resloves on its own. Thanks for all your prayers, support, and gifts. We are so excited about our new addition!
